i sat there lying next to you
with my eyelids closed
praying to the heavens you will lose control
the control you use on me
the control i want from you
i need you to care, to be my love fest
my ever loving and dying moment
because when you are not here
I am free falling
It is appauling to know you lie
the drugs, they hurt, i do not care
why should my life be ruined?
i cannot bare the fact that you try so hard and yet scream so soft
for since we have been together ive lost you
the moment you said i love you i lost you
the very first time i made love to you, i lost you

From the note at the top and the name of the poem, I was expecting something else, and I was pleasantly surprised. This poem rings with sadness and truth that must be so painful for you to feel and see. I hope that you can find the strength to fix things for yourself. Because sometimes, that's all we can do.
