Just a simple game of give and take
To play our lives this last stake
Gamble all in a world of less
Nothing but a game of chess
Lower the bet it's a losing race
Or has the promise become the net
Loose change remains
Yet on we bet
Had faith in the pretty woman
Again a promise of blue sky
Problem is our eyes are shut
Take time now to tip the glass
Cause after this there's nothing left.
