A journey come to an end
The softening of my heart
By the tenderness of a true friend
Warm colors now delight
Sad eyes
That once saw only black and white
A chance for the past to redeem
And fulfil
That deeply buried dream
Of looking into the mirror to see
A beautiful woman
Staring back at me
