I dont think I can love
There is no positive side to things
There are no feelings of happiness
Only the hatred and the sorrow that love brings
If I could see my way clear to share my heart
Perhaps my soul would grow to become pure
But somethings blocking my right of passage to fulfillment
So I guess Ill just stay impure
I just cannot stand to have anyone around
At least not longer than a day
Too soon, too sudden irritation kicks in
And it all just goes array
What lies underneath, surfaces when we meet
I will take whatever you have to offer
Be it good or evil...
But when we die, you die alone
And in time, I will have forsaken you...

maybe its not a case of you not being able to love, maybe you just get bored real quick, like me, and no matter how good something is, you always have the desire for more.
just a thought.

| i get bored with things too, but i think its not that we loose interest in it, but its we are sabotaging ourselves due to unresolved conflicts inside of us. good poem. |
