Standing on the outside
Watching them live their lives
Its like a void surrounds me
Blocking me from their sights
Ive lived my life just hoping
That theyd finally see me
But Im still nothing more
Then a lonely outsider
Waiting to be accepted
By the people that I love
I wish I could do something
Anything to make them see
Theres someone whos just waiting
Waiting for them to finally see
Maybe if I wowed them
Did something seriously spectacular
Theyd welcome me with open arms
Instead of shunning me with angry glares
But nothing I do fazes them
Im just a shadow on the wall
Someone whos just waiting
Waiting for them to see me

i feel for you. i truly know this feeling
i feel it as well alot. sadly sometimes this is the way families are. you are definitly not alone. always know there are millions of people in your position. hang in there

wonderful but sad write. I once felt as you do but I have learned that I should be happy with myself and if they do not care enough to see me then I do not need them. Maybe one day things will change for you.
