Ive seen you here before, Same old downbeat tune played on your beetroot red guitar, Complete with capo perched uselessly on the end. Thinning hair falls across your forlorn face As I struggle to tell you politely that the song youre playing Would sound nicer with at least one upward stroke.
The song finishes and you shuffle off, Polystyrene cup in hand, To assault the next carriage with your anti-talent. And above the rumblings of the train, I can still hear your endlessly repetitive wailing.
That was just a dream, Just a dream Just a dream
