Stealing Heaven

Leaving reality behind,
the stairway to heaven, I did climb
Playing amongst the mist and dew
Exploring a world fresh and new
Looking upon clouds perfect form
This perfection knows no such storms
Holding close the silky layer
Touching peace of a mortal's prayer
Forgetting I do not belong
In such a world that knows no wrong
Returning to Earth's solitude
Glancing one last time before due
Embracing one last luciouse feel
A piece of heaven I did steal
