What do you do?

Contributed by MissMandy on Thursday, 11th May 2006 @ 09:55:51 PM in AEST
Topic: anguished

What do you do when your heart is so broken that you know it's unable to mend?
What do you do when your tears flow unheeded and can't find the shoulder of a friend?
What do you do when your soul is so empty that you don't even know how you feel?
What do you do when your brain is so mushy that you cannot distinguish what's real?
How do you fix a soul that is bleeding?
How do you mend a heart slashed in two?
How do you find a friend that will listen?
How do you find a love that is true?
Some wounds don't mend.
They seem to get better then are ripped open once more
to reveal the blood and the ghastliness of an uncovered scar.
It bleeds and you cry until you feel refreshed.
Then it's covered until once again it's unfleshed.

you know........i wish you would write more, seriously, i love the insight it gives to your soul....you have this air of perfection around you, yet your writeing reveals that you are human, just like the rest of us.
