I dont see where you're taking me
I'm not lying but you're not listening
You're asking me to compromise myself
Writing my lines to better suit you
Forcing me to change without an word.
I'm asking you, so softly like a prayer
Imploring for an ounce of understanding
Entreating you to leave...just go.
We're asking each other for opposites
At this point it doesn''t matter who wants want
But who wants WHOM.
I can't be everything you want
And everything you are not
I never lied, you should have listened.
