Nothing matters, When it ends

Contributed by -why_not_let_me_live- on Saturday, 13th May 2006 @ 08:51:09 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Whats the point in life, If it always ends in death,
Whats the point in doing things, in making your life a success,
Sooner or later were all gonna die, and our pasts will be erased,
So whats the point in solving all the problems that we faced,

Why is it so important, that we go to school and work each day,
No one will care about our achievements in the future anyway,
So why do we thrive to do our best, in the end were already screwed,
The same fate has been laid out for all of us, 6ft under is how we'll conclude,

Somthing just clicked inside of me and I see no point in living,
Anything I say or do will never go down in history,
I guess what Im trying to say is it dosnt matter who or what we are,
We all end up as equals, in the end off lifes radar.

Oh friend,- a human life is infinitely precious.
We live in TIME, but there is a beyond time.
Nothing is ever lost, whether it is known in the realm of time or not, it will become manifest in another realm of existence.

No effort is lost, be not so discouraged. Everhythinhg we do has its impact in the Universe and is saved in the Hands of the Lord.
Blessings!
Elizabeth

I agree with you. That is a great way of thinkin about life. But I think you will be remembered! Your poetry might inspire people. It inspired me.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
