artistry defined by my feet
curved and rounded individually
structured and shaped
together, they hold up my legs
beauty runs through the veins in me
circulating warmth to my feet
flexible they can go
and grace they can hold
with a flexible point
made for beauty and weight
such a small portion of my body
yet the whole frame they carry
in the beatings of the desert and abuse
they can carry on in so much ware and use
this small portion of my body
is passed and unseen easily
but their beauty and structure
becomes defined more and more
being molded from the art of life
they walk on, the pottery of toil and strife
these feet, these stems
beautified by their purpose and creation
callused, torn and roughened
after each travel only to become
richly softened
indeed, becoming art of a great creation
