For Anyone Who Doesn't Understand Me

Contributed by His_Infernal_Majesty on Sunday, 14th May 2006 @ 07:45:48 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

Have you ever been unsatisfied with your life?
Down to your last threat, on the edge of a knife.
Felt down and depressed, when things just arent right.
And thought to yourself tonight your last night.

Have you ever had hope ripped away from you?
Failed your dreams you try to pursue?
Loved and lost had your heart torn in two?
By the love of your life, who turns out untrue.

Have you felt, what it is to suffer the consequence of death?
To know that someone you love has taken there last breath.
Have you ever felt the burden of a secret that could tear your family apart?
Tackling this problem without the shoulder of a sweetheart.

Have you ever been stabbed in the back?
To the point where you just cant hold the tears back.
By a friend so close you consider him your brother.

Tear run down your face, crying and just wondering isnt there more to life?
Than misery, and temptation of suicide.
I just dont know, anymore

I feel your pain, life is very painful and when it seems so dark that there is no more light left. But thats not true and trust me its darkest right before dawn. Dont let life take anything more from you, becuase once you give into her she will take everything you have. Suicide is never the answer so please don't think about that.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
