Those Who Dance

We take night as our lover
Hold close to it for cover
Its always there for
Those who dance with the night.

Prowling the stars at midnight
Or maybe even your street
You can hear our soft music
Pulsing in your feet.

Seductive smiles
And sensuous lips, I beckon
And entrance you
With slow-moving hips.

Grab unto my hand
And let me lead you through a dance
The magic is only beginning
As you slip into a trance.

Feel those fingers in you hair,
Its me, relax
Listen, do you hear music?
Its beautiful syntax?

The feeling at your throat
Is just my ancient kiss
Let yourself go and
I promise youll love this.

There will be no pain tonight
It wont even hurt a bit
Between the music and the moon light
Our bond is so close-knit.

You wont feel me draw your blood
You wont feel me pierce your skin
Therell still be life in you tomorrow
Blood will still flow within.

Dance with me for now, tonight you are mine
Darkness is a somewhat cold lover,
But like it does those who dance in the night
It will keep us cover.

Wow! Kei! This is a fabulous poem. To use the titles from one of my poems and a classic rock song, "May I Have This Dance" and we'll be "Dancing In The Moonlight." You're right! "It's beautiful syntax" for a beautiful song.
