I'm still here I'll wait for you for a while longer I'm still here Loving you I'm still waiting For your heart And I will wait Forever You understand I love you I understand you need more time Love is something that you aren't used to But no matter how long it takes I'll still be here Waiting for your love I'm still here Loving you And if you ever doubt The power of my love Just look behind you and see That I'm still here I'm still behind you Forever And if you're ever lost In a wave of emotions Just look back and you shall find I'm still here Here to comfort you Here to help you up If ever you fall I'm still here Forever My heart is with you Where ever you go And if you decide to love me too I'll be here behind you I'm still here

It takes a very strong love to mean such a thing as I'll wait forever. Nice write.

Yeah nice poem. To bad love doesnt love forever. I was in love once took me a good 3 years before I even tried to move on. But as Larkin once said 'love doesnt last forever just because statues hold hands for 600 years'. Basicaly as much as we may want love to last forever, simple reality is that just like everything else love has an end. Certainly we can love for a long time, but time is a force that can clear away our very exsitence so why should love survive? |
