Alone and Waiting

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I miss the touch of another
No longer can I hold you close
I tried to give you my heart
Now I cry inside my soul
I tried to love you more than life
Now Im stuck in this strife
I pray to God for love from above
I miss my angel from up high
That angel has all but died
You destroyed who I was
And now I try to find who I am
I pray to the Lord to ease the pain inside
I goto him now, and give Him my life
You showed me how love can blind
You were the straw that broke the camels back
I do not hate you for what you did
You brought me closer to God
Now I need to be patient and wait for love
I want to hold someone close
Lay next to them and not let go
I want to kiss a woman sweetly on her lips
Hold her hand as my heart starts to race
Who is the lucky one to get my love
I dont want to wait forever
But im not in control of life
Its hard not to worry and feel lonely
Cause I miss the love that I can share
And I know you never truely cared
So I cry at night as I sleep
Alone with no one to hold close
