Must Be Love

Contributed by BigDaddy on Wednesday, 17th May 2006 @ 06:45:42 PM in AEST
Topic: AnniversaryPoems

I am forever lost, entranced by your gaze,
Your smile has imprisoned me, enslaved my very day.
My heart belongs to you, with unconditional love,
Each thought will free a Butterfly in me and lift me high above.
Sweet memories so clear, so fresh, as if it were yesterday,
The years are lost, time fades away, I am grateful for your love this day.
My life can not embrace all love, for love is without limit,
I do not want to lose you fear my world become dimly lit.
There will never be so deep a love this bond we hold so sacred,
Hold on my love, never let me go, believe in what I've said!
My words are true and bare the fruit of all sincere devotion,
We are one spirit, two souls embracing love and emotion.
I desire no wealth or worldly fame,
No great stature lacking wisdom yielding shame.
Your love is my life...........I want nothing else!

WOW Bigdaddy, you have taken the words right out of my mouth. This is how I feel about my Wife after twenty two years of marriage. This was an excellent poem.

Please read “When We first Met”
