whose hand?

Contributed by falcon on Friday, 19th May 2006 @ 11:22:15 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

lying cold on the floor in a pool of blood

only a little, there wasnt much left

waiting for the end of the long slow torture

all those cuts to the heart, so many

thought you were happy? cut

had a chance at something good? cut

a slice for daring to think you were worthy of love

for thinking that one could ever love you in return,

that deserves a deeper cut still

this one, so lonely? no, another cut

opening your heart wouldnt do it

try opening your veins instead

what about the one who seemed so true?

ha, you fooled yourself so well that time!

a big jagged slash for that one

how could you ever deceive yourself so,

to imagine you might ever find someone so blind

they would love you?

they all can see you for what you are

worthless to the core

looking to see the hand the wields the knife

the fingers gripping so tightly, waiting vainly

for someone to pry them free of that wicked blade,

have mercy!

but no one ever will

too late

whose hand could be so cruel?

yes, of course, my own all along

totally true.yep i just stoped my therapy april!
yu protray the thoughts that go in your mind while you cut.i loved to cut but hated it as well.a release yet a prison with in your self. your poem tells your pain and strugle that you have went through.also it shows how we always seem to blame the one whos fault for those negative emotions on the wrong one....ourselves.so in that i completly loved this and can appreciate it in ways others can not
well done
