around them i laugh and smile
but inside i know i'm not worth your while
every day is just one big act
i am worthless an that's a fact
i'm beyond anyones help and care
than again, no one notices i'm starting to tear
i'm tearing inside and out
my soul is just waiting for someone to shout
to shout that they need me in their life
and that i need to put down that knife
but no one could understand what i mean
cuz i'm faking the biggest smile the world has ever seen

| you know, there's more than no one who understands....i also understand....my wrists are covered with scars, from the time when I was feeling the same way....my solution was this....i stopped pretending....now i just walk around with a scowl on my face writing poetry....it gets better....there are people who want you in their lives, even though you may not have met them yet....take care, and don't do that with a knife....thats too permanent a solution to a temporary problem.... |
