The weeds at my house seem to grow too high
and they fill my yard oh with trouble I
must face with shovel but they are mean
with feet stuck deep and I do hate them aye.
Give me some kind of weed stop every time
with easy way to make the weeds not climb
all over my yard that my hands don't grime
and fingernails will stay now clean of slime.
Guess I could use gloves I do know their use
but they are bother great to spare abuse
and I'm not Holmes with mind that may deduce
where they are so good wife will wait excuse.
If I delay enough could be that way
an awful duty I'll escape this day.
