Fires burning bright in the night sky
rising with desire to reach past the night
screaming to feed upon heavenly sights
from the crystal haze of the moon's light;

Clouds of ash rain down on blackened earth
devouring the life that once held worth
spreading with greed to cause lasting hurt
glowing ambers of death ravage the world;

Waters boiling from unrelenting heat
flowing like lava with a burning greed
destroying the oceans that once seemed free
from an angered God with nothing left to bleed.
