I CAN NEVER ONLY DREAM
I can never have you for all my own
Only dream in my mind that you have
Always been
I can never be with you forever
Only dream about
Where we would have gone
I can never tell you the truth that is in my heart
For you would vanish from my life
Never to return
Only dream that you already know
I can never hold you for more than a few
Minutes each month
Only dream that those minutes
Are years that have slipped away
I can never kiss you with all the passion
You deserve
Only dream you would take what you need
I can never talk about you aloud
For the truth spoken in words
Does not fit into our real world
But dreaming in silence is often
More powerful than the
Vocal truth
