How do you forget all the times you shared
How do you let go of the one who cared
How do you not see what's right in front of you
How do you walk away from a love so true
How does such a good thing turn so bad
I was so happy, it was you I had
I don't sleep at night, I toss and turn
Your fire was so hot, but now it doesn't even burn
If you would look into my eyes, deep into my soul
You would see that my heart is no longer whole
We are going to lose what little hope we keep
As they say, what you sow you reep
I want so bad to make this right
I want so bad for you to hold me at night
You don't understand, you're slowly killing me
If you don't want to be here just let me be

| funny thing is poetry is a art and they say art is how perceive it, we dont know each other at all and u summed up my emotions in a recent break up! great write i realy enjoyed it ...but wait im asking myself am i happy some1 else feels my pain or am i happy to see the pain of someone else?i think i just found my next poem ....in short your a inspiration! ty. |
