Someday We will Meet Again

When you left me, I was so troubled.
My life was a building reduced to rubble.
I saw a black horizon without any light.
It enveloped me without even a fight.
But, one day I stared into the dark sky
and saw a bright star way up high.
It twinkled and shined like a white flare.
Somehow, I knew that you were there.
You watch over me every day.
I still can talk to you when I pray.
On some lonely nights, I still will cry.
The question still plagues me. Why?
I don't know why God took you away.
Perhaps, he needed another angel.
Even though you are in eternal bliss,
I know you miss me when you reminisce.
There is one thing I ask you in heaven above.
Please, never forget me or our love.
cuz when I die and leave this place.
I won't rest until I find your face.
I'll search for you in heaven high and low.
Forever I'll search so I can let you know
that you are still mine even past the end
and eternity is forever if you didn't comprehend.
I look forward to that glorious time.
when we meet in heaven's mansions sublime.
For me, life on earth is only a wait.
to meet you in heaven for a perfect date.
A date that I spend my life getting ready for
so be ready when I knock on your door.
cuz ,I hope with all my heart, that someday we will meet again.
I pray to God that someday we will meet again.
