Staring at years gone by
Memories flooding my mind
Of a simple time when you were there
And I paid no attention to you
My heart breaking slowly
You were always there
You had always cared
But I was too blind to see that
You're the one for me
And now that I open my eyes
You want to run away from me
Are you afraid too?
Do you fear the pain that may come?
Or is there something else inside
That makes you run and hide?
You were always waiting
For my attention
And now you run from it
I'm so torrid
Torn up inside
Confusion never slowing
Always flowing
I want to die
My heart feels broken
And I cut myself to see if I'm still alive
I cut myself to see if I can still bleed
And I write your name in blood
I'm so blind
You really don't know what you have
Until it's gone
