Tendered in Blood

Contributed by NoSaint on Thursday, 25th May 2006 @ 01:11:47 PM in AEST
Topic: AmericanTragedy

Tendered in blood
Her payment for love
Lost to herself
No family or friends

He is all she has
Forced into solitude
Hidden bruises
Pierced heart

Begging for mercy
None to come
Drunken rages
Followed by empty apologies

Tendered in blood
Her payment for love
Lost to this world
She found peace at last

This is so sad! I felt the emotion in every line.

Keep 'em coming.

Very good poem, very emotional. I could feel the hurt you are going through. Good work.
