Just can't seem to cut it today
angry thoughts and angry words
they don't seem to go away

Can't quite seem to forget it today
if innocence is weakness then
why shouldn't predators prey?

And I don't hold it against you
'Cause it's an easy ride
and that's just what you do to pass the time

It doesn't matter how much it tears there insides
as long as you get that bite
as long as the meat is ripe....
