Blind, deaf, mute & dumb
Trusting them to lead
Proudly serving our country
Being told when to bleed
We're a nation of emulation
Always doing what we're told

Looking for a hand to hold
Bow down for the mighty
Have come down from above
Raining down their stolen money
From a blood stained glove
Blindly we grab for that cash
Temporary relief from the pain
Of knowing that our masters leave
Thousands of innocents slain
We're a nation of emulation
Always doing what we're told
We're a nation of emulation
Looking for a hand to hold
Day by day we wonder
What this life has to give
Night by night we ponder
Is it worth the pain to live?
We've lived our lives to the end
Staying mostly numb
Welcoming in a new generation
Who's blind, mute, deaf & dumb.

Well, my honest opinion is that you hate our governments position on Iraq, I agree/disagree with ya on that point, but thats not here nor there. BUT, on the poem itself, not bad man. Good work.

i have written a couple of political ones, At the Battle Beyond and Tainted by the Few, perhaps u might enjoy them :-) |

Yeah, this might make an interesting song. I've written a few more politically based poems but fear the backlash if I post them.
Good flow - would suit a song.
