For Jenna

Contributed by ButchCorpuz on Saturday, 27th May 2006 @ 02:47:23 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Every time I see a falling star
I begin to wonder where you are
And ask if wishes ever come true
Then I would find myself holding you

So many things remind me of you
Just like the mere sight of pink and blue
The mere scent of pizza on my hand
Thoughts of Taz, Spongbob and Disneyland

These thoughts of you make me want to smile
And feel joy even for just a while
For soon enough the thoughts will be gone
And all the bliss fades till there is none

Im all yours, Jenna, but youre not mine
My place in your heart I cant define
Not knowing where I stand hurts me so
I guess Ill just have to let you go

To face the pain and stop pretending
That Id soon have a happy ending
Love isnt waiting behind that door
For I am just your friend, nothing more

So, each time I see a falling star
Id send my dreams to be where you are
Hoping that youll still remember me
And how much youve made me happy

Its sad to say that I can never keep you
Still, my love for you will remain true
For now, theres nothing left for me to do
But hope that someday, youll love me too

I know how much this must hurt, Butch. You write of this pain and longing so vividly.
I wish only the best for you, my young friend..
Glad you are here posting again...
Hugs
Jenni
