Your Sacrificial Advice Again

Contributed by zeequeen on Saturday, 27th May 2006 @ 04:08:14 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

You feel your wisdom is the best

You cant give your preaching a rest

Through your lessons you sacrifice

Cant you take your own advice?

You tell em not to cheat or lie

And enjoy yourself before you die

So why dont you live a little?

And become less noncommital

Immune to mistakes, is that it?

And youve never taken a hit

Feeling constantly on alert

For fear of ever being hurt

Thinking that you are the smartest

Doesnt always end up the best

So go follow your own advice

Or what you love youll sacrifice

Good poem. Kind of like double personality.
Giving yourself advice. You know you should accept. But then again, you cant. Hm. How conflicting.

You know, you made it right.

Sometimes we give advices to others, but those advices we don't apply them to ourselves. We sometimes doubt.
the last part:

So go follow your own advice

Or what you love you’ll sacrifice

Is the one that I felt like a slap in the face. That's very right.
