End of My Misery

Suicide

And I die in pain, An act of mercy, I think As my blood drains Out of this body I never feel queasy Watching it flow in narrow rivers Dying is easy, And living is the hardest part The grip of death is tight, So I shall never return Suicide is not right But I can't just stop There's a series of scars along my arms Now I have one along my neck My collection of self-inflicted harm It won't be long until The cut skimming my neck Kills me by my own free will Bringing this misery to an end
