The Game Of No Turning Back

Contributed by Adriean on Sunday, 28th May 2006 @ 07:36:06 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I want to play a game, with a twist
I'll write the rules out on my wrist
You want me to show you how to play
So when its my turn I will take the blade
Watch the blade carefully, on my skinnice and slow
because once I start there's no turning back, you know?
What's that you say? You don't want my to die?
It's too late you should've listened, when I told you my silent good-byes.
I tried to tell you So many times how I felt,
no turning back now, the cards have been dealt
My destiny is calling, my fate has been set
You say that Im stubborn but I want to forget.
The things that have destroyed my heart, my life is through.
You should have paid attention, to the shrieking of my mind
To words written on walls, to my woeful good-byes.
Now you say your sorry and that you should have seen
heard my calls for help, it was no mystery
You knew what game I was talking about
yet when I took out the blade you didnt start to shout
You knew what was going on and how this all would end and finally....
resigned you say," Good-bye my best friend."
