The air is cool My breath I see Im waiting for you To come back to me.
I sit at the window My eyes are dry Wondering how You could possibly lie.
You promised me It would be alright I wont get hurt Ill win this fight.
You turn your back And walk away I call for you If you love me, stay.
You walked by me My heart you tore But Ill still love you Forever more.
I waited long The nights Ive cried The letter home Inside I died.

I can see why it won, very nice. You capture many deep emotions in very simple words. |

Simply put. Very deep and well written. Great job! No wonder it won. |
