Ah its been about a year now
Since the whole thing ended
The will they won't they
On and off
We had our relationship
Cant work out why it ended
Then we pussy-footed around
Shall we or shall we not
Never seemed to be the right
Time for either of us
Simultaneously
And then I decided it was the end of that
And now you've got someone
Else and I'm leaving
And you probably don't like
Me anymore
And yet
Yet I look at you
And there something else I see
Even though we're friends now
I look at you and what I see
Is the girl that let get away
Let out of my hands
Who flew away
And I kinda regret it in a way
But there you go
