My life on the rocks...

I stand on the rocks Mighty ships coming to and from the docks The spray of the churning sea hits me This is the only time when I ever felt truly free
My ship has sunk, my life has died This sea is the ocean of tears Ive cried The wind has never settled down One more move and I will drown
Theres no life jacket for my help Just a painful gurgle is my yelp If I stopped the tears I would survive But theres no more strength in me to stay alive
Other ships just pass on by Watching me drown, while I cry My clutching hand is all thats left My last gesture before I enter death!

You know, I like this type of poems. The Ones that use imagination, The ones that use things to drescribe persons. Like In here while saying Other Ships Just pass On by watching me drown. Instead of Saying that persons pass next to, and don't stop to help.
The Ones in which you have to analyze and apply them to life.
So Well Written. I like the sadness in this one. And Teaches a lesson about life.
Nice. |
