for six years you never came around
you missed everything that happened
i never had a mother cause you didn't care
and now all of a sudden im supposed to be there?
needles and highs were more important than your own kids
for 2 straight years we thought you were dead
now you're in a bind, and you expect something of me?
go see my 8th grade christmas concert, and maybe we'll see
ive held back my words for far too long
you've been under the impression i truly care
but im telling you this now
never for you will i be there
go see me sing my solo back in 9th grade,
go be there for me when i had my first kiss
go wipe my tears when they stepped on my heart
then maybe i'll think of letting you back in
