I want love on a highway
Because this is love on a one way street
It's stop and go traffic
And I just want to meet
I want this to work
The light is green
Or at least it is for me
Tell me what I need to do
To get you out of the back seat
With the windows rolled down
I sigh
This ride seems to be going
For such a long time
With no end in sight
What happened to me?
What happened to we?
We are nothing
You are everything
Please don't forget how much I've tried to do for you
I think this will end in a head on collision
I know you have so many choices
But you're my only decision

Very creative writing here. I like how you used the metaphorical style, it helps to understand the experience and I like the usage of the one way street idea. GJ
