Just what is there
But not to my surprise
There I see the same thing I always realize
Bare is the vessel empty & hollow
Its a shadow one that once held on
On to hope
On to joy

an interesting use of metaphoric language.
I am fond of short pieces.
They express everything that needs to be said more effectively than long tangents!
(which i am both guilty of)
The melancholy undertones mingle with a sense of nostalgia.
Again i can relate to your words.
