10 o'clock arrives with much anticipation,
in come the pumps, stands and gas,
a quick glance at the bathroom mirror and you are away,
another weekend.
uneducated youths litter the streets,
the smell of hormones and happiness fills the air,
you smile despite the alien terrain,
another weekend.
in through the doors and straight to the tap,
down, 1, 2 ,3 4,
stomach annoys but the party goes on,
ID please, here you go, thank you sir,
thump thump of the awful music,
another pint? aye,
heading over? aye,
not many here. aye,
dance dance dance, craic had by all,
chinese? aye,
chicken curry rice and a drunken fight,
i enjoy both.
for ***** sake, another weekend.
