We love each other

Contributed by BRONZEN on Tuesday, 6th June 2006 @ 03:52:54 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

We know we've had a lot of issues but our task must be carried out
We love each other and time has shown it without a doubt

We have argued excessively and went to bed on our wrath
We love each other too much to let pettiness stand in our path

The past keeps haunting us and never letting us forget that day
We love each other and we'll still remain together come what may

Our incomes is slowly folding and ends are hard to meet
We love each other and we'll stick together to get back on our feet

Sometimes we're on our separate outings our eyes tend to roam
We love each other deeply we can overcome temptation because we know one or the other is waiting at home

When we're away on business trips feeling alone from time to time
We love each other and our love can endure absence we have that strong bind

When we're feeling alienated and it seems the rest of the world is against us
We love each other we'll look to each other for comfort and resilience

When we're feeling weak and our bodies wretched with physical ailments
We love each other and together we'll be strong and send it into riddance

We have two separate minds and sometimes need to be in a world of our own
We love each other to know it's not personal it's just to remember who we are and become more homegrown

We love each other from the depths of our hearts
Nothing in this world will not ever tear us apart

Very intense, in its emphaticness it seems to imply doubts and fears, nice write :-)

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
