Is this a bad time
To report a crime
About a girl so fine
Who just would not be mine
She never had the time
And wouldnt spend a dime
To listen to this silly rhyme
She had to decline
The presence of mind
And subdue the clandestine-
Mystery drenched in wine
She loved to unwind
Drink and dine
Shopping all the time
Then kick back and recline
Get drunk and walk that fine line
Between the fruit and its vine
Which eagerly binds
Her soul to mine
So, where is the crime?
In leaving her behind
Only in my mind
Only this one last time
