Blood Bound Curse

Topic: DarkPoetry

Standing before the mirror
Nothing can hide
You see what I see
My reflection in your eyes
The terror I once delivered
The hate from my heart
I contaminate you
Become what you despise
You follow our legacy
When you hit her
Cut her
Beat her down
Copying my actions
I once hit you
Cut you
Beat you down
Son of my blood
Child of my flesh
You have become me
With your mortal soul
My soul is intertwined
I see the self-hatred
The loathing of her
Her bruised, ravished body
Laying dead on the floor
Remember your mother
Her body lying blue
I taught you to hate her
To hate me
You watched me
Kill your mother
Just as your son watched you
Kill your wife
Those hands are the same as mine
The ones that held her down
The same scar lies upon them
You will never escape my rule
You have become your nightmare
Do not think I dont know
Your fear is me
Of becoming like I
Take the gun
The weapon against your brow
The lead once cold
Burns in your mind
Just as you watched my end
Your child watches yours
This blood
That runs within our family veins
Binds us as one
In life, we are the tormentors
In death we are tormented
It is my time to leave
Finally the curse has passed on
To you my son
As you take my place
Guide your child into despair
And watch
This blood bound curse
Kill once more
