I lose myself in your deep blue eyes, Who knows I'm in sweet paradise? Your warmth erases age old lies, And teaches me no compromise. Have never known a love so true, Of thoughts so free, so young, so new. A summer's dream, we are the stream, That turns to river, sea serene.
To hold you in my arms at dawn, And feel so happy, yet forlorn. I know that you were meant for me, But cease to be, October's born. (The stars have crossed us, that's no lie, Where Leo glides 'cross Gemini)
Such perfect fusions heavens make, Then break it up for heartbreak's sake, The love that makes my soul's drum shake, Warm effervescence stalks its wake. Salvation! One thing's clear to see, You'll evermore have part of me, Our ninety scenes of summer's dreams, Will now and then, forever be...
