Into the darkness I must go
Where the light never shines, the black undying
And haunting spirits loom undiscovered
Waiting, waiting to strike unto the undeserving
The ghosts of tomorrow taunt me relentlessly
A constant pounding in my head- throughout my body
But I still must continue forth
Onward into a bleak place where colors are never seen
The warm touch of the afternoon sun never felt
Only the utter loneliness can be sighted
From the dying plants and rotting trees
No eyes have seen all this evil and darkness
And have ever re-entered into the pure light
With only the memories to be haunted by
A constant rainstorm that continually comes back, never-ending
Like all the twisted, tortured souls of the past
I have unknowingly entered unto my defeat
