The Door

Topic: InspirationalPoems

Theres a fog surrounding me
Im feeling my way through the
mist
Im getting a feeling of anxiety
while having a hankering need
to persist

I can't determine my journey
ahead
but the signals of reliance is
well-read

Focusing my eyes vaguely I see
the door
it had light seeping through and
clearly it states explore

My legs are willing to proceed
but my spirit is hesitating
I sought myself one last time
into believing

Im trying to reach the door
my spirit is pulling me back
I know I have this one last
chance I cant become side-
tracked
the door is slowly closing Im
racing against the time
this is my moment just this
moment in my prime

I finally built up my spirits
and did away with the noose
I know the door is shutting
on every given excuse

Screaming! Screaming!
here I come
please keep the door open
Im just a few seconds away
your my answer Im for certain
