Dear Lord
As I lye here all alone
wanting so bad just to die
please give me the strength to continue
give me the strength to try
as i lye here by my knife
looking at it shine
give me the courage not to pick it up
please stop my crying
give me the strength to move on
even with all this pain
give me the courage to overcome
and help him do the same
give me the strength to love again
the strength to move on
give us the strength to be one again
give me the courage to try
help me to understand
help me not to cry
help us to get along again
Make sure i don't die..
now as i lue here all alone
thinking about death
help me to realize you love me
and you'll help me do my best
you are with me
and i'll be strong
knowing you're by my side
i'll know what to do
it'll try so hard
it'll all work out fine
now as i lye down to rest
help me to be good
help me to love again
love like i should
you love all
and i should too
but sometimes it's hard
give me the strength to be me again
in jesus' name i pray

| As I am reading your prayer/poem entry, I'm sure the Lord hears your prayer as well. Please remember that He would not want you to end your life that He has graciously given to you. He still has his blessings to bestow upon you and you still have your life to live. God Bless. |
