my grand mother rocking chair:

Contributed by RICHARD_CAMPBELL on Tuesday, 13th June 2006 @ 07:13:15 PM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

My grandmother had this old rocking chair
she would just sit in and waited for us to come home.
i remember always running home to sit right in her lap.
she would rock backward and forward in her rocking chair humming a song
in her head.so unique you won't believe.
i would lay my head on her chest as she continue to humm
her song,i would fall asleep.
waking up in my bed ,still hearing my grandmother humming in my head.
the words i cannot repeat but the sound was o so sweet.
like my grand mother alway said music is inside all of us.
now go to bed.
