The sky will cry its tears of pain
This feeling is so insane
When I saw your face
My heart began to race
You lift my spirit when it falls
You answer my hearts desperate calls
Dont let these feelings go away
At least until ive had the chance to say
You make my river of tears run dry
Made it impossible for me to cry
You say you think i should smile
And we'll sit and talk for a while
How can this be real?
I didnt even know i could feel
This way
Somedays its hard to get by
Shuffle down the sidewalk wondering why
This burning sensation wont fade
So sing me another midnights serenade
Cause the night wont last much longer
Hold on to me ill be that much stronger
As I lay and watch you sleep
I wonder if youre really mine to keep
So as these feelings grow
I just think you should know
You make my river of tears run dry
Made it impossible for me to cry
You say you think i should smile
And we'll sit and talk for a while
How can this be real?
I didnt even know i could feel
This way
The red sun begins to rise
And the moonlight begins to die
As real as it may seem
These things only happen in dreams
So i must be the luckiest girl on earth
To even be worth
A moment of your lifetime
You make my spirits climb
So just though you should know
Even though its not well shown
You make me a better person
