Fathers Day
~
Dont buy me any presents,
I have all that I need.
To have any more,
Would be just greed.
~
Dont shower me with praise,
Its just another day.
I plan to spend it,
In the usual way.
~
Dont make a fancy cake,
Or dinner fit for a king.
Dont want to go,
To no Fathers day sing.
~
Im perfectly content,
To stay right here at home.
Theres no place on earth,
That Id rather roam.
~
Lets grill outside,
Spend the day together.
Enjoy the peace and quiet,
And the beautiful weather.
~
Just the three of us,
My wife and my son.
The best things in life,
Ive already won.
