I hate your misconceptions and delusions...
Youve lead me on, tore me up
and scarred my raw flesh
Youve shot down my hopes.
And laughed at my existence
As I cursed at the sky
And screamed for retaliation
Youve shattered my dreams
And pushed my face into the dirt
And kicked my soiled carcass
As I cried for justice, and equality
Youve betrayed my conviction
And flayed my naked body
Leaving me exposed, and impure
As I begged for acceptance, and worth
Youve trampled on my heart
And left it bleeding on the floor
Leaving me incomplete, and resentful
As I loath every fibre of your being
Youve accentuated my fears
And left me wallowing in the darkness
Lost, and unattainable...
I search for the light that no longer exists

| going by your poem which by the way is very well written... i wouldn't say you were a messed up person Fiona more like you have a lot of hurts in your heart that you need to deal with and you looked to this person in your poem for guidance and understanding and they didn't understand your hurts and pains... i truely hope through you expressing your hurts through poetry that it helps in some way. I know writing my hurts and pains out has helped me to deal with my hurts and pains so that i am a far happier person now than i ever was before... great write love to see more |
