what LIES beneath

when i look into your eyes all i see are lies
lies of the past, the present, and the future
stop being so vague and whimpy
tell me the truth for once, i deserve to hear it
you're the one that always said "i'll always be here for you"
but where are you now? Distant memories fill
my head as i reminisce about the past with you.
Oh How i never want to go back to a time that caused
me so much pain, a time that there was so much
tears shed. People lie awake at night thinking about
how much they love a person; but me, i just lie
awake at night thinking about my next scheme
to cause you as much heart break as you did me.
I know, I know, two wrongs don't make a right
but what you did to me was far worse than anything
anyone's ever endured. Tears,bloodshed,heartache,
being led on..you don't know how it is to feel
useless and deprived of your self-confidence.
No, you dont know how it feels to be so weak
at times that it makes your heart ache for
a better day. You don't..You don't
